He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Ruth; his brother Kenneth (Dorothy); his son-in-law Paul Magelssen; and his grandchildren, Christina Honett, Lydia Wahlstrom and Drew Wahlstrom.

He is survived by: his children, Steven (Jane), Stan (Sandy), Sheryl Magelssen, Sharleen Trantham (Mark) and Shirley Foust (Eric); and his wife Dorothy. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mueller Funeral Homes (979 N Green Bay Rd, Grafton, WI 53024). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
