His early employment was a mechanic for Harrisburg Railways. He became a pilot for AMP and Berg Electronics. He retired from DuPont as their local Chief Pilot.His hobby was building and flying model airplanes. Traveling with his "Gal" Chris, and their dogs was another past time.Howard was preceded in death by his wife Christine Rote Cassel, his parents Pauline and Leroy Cassel, his brother Glenn Reilly, and his sister Fae Milliken.Howard is survived by his son Tim Cassel (Judy), his daughter Holly Jacobs (Todd), his granddaughter Molly Deitrich (Nathan), and his great-grandchildren Harper and Parker Deitrich.We wish to thank everyone at Columbia Cottage, Linglestown, and Hospice for All Seasons for taking such good care of him.There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice For All Seasons Foundation.Arrangements are being cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral.
