Howard Fussell

Howard Gordon Fussell, 64, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on May 19, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, to Willie Mae and R.P. Fussell, Howard earned an Associate’s degree and devoted 43 years to Megger before retiring in 2016. In retirement, he continued working with Budget Blinds. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and his readiness to help anyone in need.

For 22 years, Howard and his wife Debbie faithfully served as foster parents, opening their home and hearts to many children and making a lasting difference in countless lives. His quiet acts of service, generosity, and deep devotion to family and faith left a profound impact on all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.P. and Mae Fussell. Howard is survived by his wife, Debbie; his children Cameron Fussell and wife Jennifer, Kurtis Kelly and wife Sierra, Dylan Fussell and wife Kimberly, Emily Fussell and fiancé Caleb Wallace, James Fussell, Nickelas Glasscock, and Blake Fussell; and his cherished grandchildren Charlotte, Easton, and Madi. He is also survived by his brother Greg Fussell and sister-in-law Lila; stepfather AD Cowser; father-in-law Robert Travis and mother-in-law Jean; brother-in-law Greg Chastain and sister-in-law Beverly; brother-in-law Steven Culp and sister-in-law Sandy; along with several nieces, nephews, a great-nephew, great-nieces, and many dear friends.
