Horace Walters, Veteran and Aircraft Mechanic, passed away peacefully at Northside Hospital in Lawrenceville, Georgia, at the age of 63. He was born on December 28, 1962, in Kingston, Jamaica to his loving parents, Ira and Ena Walters. Horace proudly served in the United States Navy and later built a fine career as an Aviation Technician. For many years, he made his home in Georgia, where he lived surrounded by his family. Horace was a devoted man of faith known for his strength, wisdom, and steady presence. His warm spirit, quick humor, and ability to make others smile left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Horace deeply loved his family and valued the time he spent with them. As the eldest of six siblings, he carried a natural sense of leadership and care for those around him. He is survived by: his beloved wife, Andrea; his children, Mark and Rebecca Walters; and his cherished grandchildren, Eden and Eli. He is also survived by: his parents, Ira and Ena Walters; his siblings Jennifer, Deanna, Robin, Hugh, and Suzanne; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will forever remember his wisdom, laughter, and love. Horace’s memory will be cherished by his remarkable resilience, quiet bravery, and unwavering faith. He faced life's challenges with dignity, strength, and a spirit that continued to uplift those around him. He is an example to us all and a presence that will persist long after his passing.
