She was born on February 13th, 1930 in Plainview, MN. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1948.She held many jobs including bartender, factory work, soda jerk, sales associate, Tupperware sales, and bookkeeper for the family business. But her most cherished roll was that of a mother.She loved spending time with family & friends. We all have fond memories of being at the lake. She loved antiques, jewelry, and sewing. Her passion for travel brought her to realize her dream of a world cruise.She is preceded in death by her parents Aiden Carpenter and Bertha (Wempner) Carpenter; husband Clyde Meulners; daughter Sandy Meulners; grand-daughter Melanie (Glass) Feldhake; Son-In-Law Dan Cunningham.She is survived by her children Ron (Eileen) Meulners, Sue Cunningham, Sharon (Mike) Glass, Don (Linda) Meulners; grandchildren Nora (Tom) Kerber, Joe (Kimberly) Glass, Jeff (Elisangela) Glass, Randy (Heidi) Meulners, Erin (Todd) Satterwhite, Emma Meulners, Emily (Evan) Glass, Jake (Lindsay) Meulners and Sandy (Robb) Meulners; great-grandchildren Josh, Justin, Ethan, Nolan, Connor, Julia, Riley, Frederico, Randall, Livia, William, Ellery, Eden, Russell, Estelle, Allison, Milo, Lucy and Esme.The family thanks the staff at Amira Choice Champlin and Brighton Hospice for their excellent care and compassion for her.Visitation:March 19th 4 -7 PM Washburn McReavy Funeral Home1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN.Service: March 20th 10AM at St Gabriel the Archangel Church1310 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MNVisitation preceding service at 9AM in the churchLuncheon follows service at Bear Cave Brewery across Mainstreet from churchInternment at Fort Snelling Cemetery at 2PM.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
