Hong Tran

Hong Tran, known to his family as Anton Tran Thanh Hong, was born on February 8, 1942, in Huế, Vietnam. He passed away at the age of 84 on March 13, 2026.

A devoted man of faith, Anton lived his life rooted in the Catholic Church. He is remembered by his loving family as a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose quiet strength and deep devotion left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the values of faith, family, and resilience he embodied throughout his life.

Anton’s funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Andrew Dung-Lac Church in Lansing, Michigan, followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
