He was born on January 11, 1956, in San Lorenzo, Villa Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Bonifacio Elias Lopez and Paula Gamez Rivera.Higinio was a man defined by hard work, determination, and deep devotion to his family. He became known not only for his strong work ethic but also for his generosity, resilience, and the pride he carried for those he loved.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonifacio and Paula; his beloved son, Jordan; his precious granddaughter, Destiny Rayne; and his brother, Jose Felix. Though their passing left a lasting mark on his heart, Higinio carried their memories with him always.He leaves behind his devoted wife, Elvia, who shared his life, his struggles, and his accomplishments. Together they built a strong and loving family that remained the center of his world.Higinio will be lovingly remembered by his children: Higinio Jeovani and his wife, Gracelia Maria; Krystal and her husband, Christopher Sr.; Allen Bonjovi and his wife, Esmeralda Nicole; and Yari Alexis and his wife, Brittany Aliza. Each of his children brought him great pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Jeovani Xavier, Mataline Iyisha, Dezmyn Jordan, Christopher Jr., Penelope, Keely Emery, and Aubrey Rose. Being a grandfather was one of his greatest joys, and he loved watching his family grow through the generations.Higinio is also survived by his siblings: Maria Irene, Arnulfo, Maria Bertha, Martha, Sylvia, Rodolfo, Jose, Juan Bonifacio, David, Juan Carlos, and Ricardo, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.For 24 years, Higinio proudly owned and operated Elias Body Shop in Mesquite and Greenville, Texas. Through skill, dedication, and long hours of work, he built a respected business that served his community and provided for his family. His commitment to his craft and reputation for honesty earned the trust and admiration of many.Outside of work, Higinio found peace and fulfillment at his ranch. He especially enjoyed tending to his cattle and horses and spending time outdoors, where he could reflect, work with his hands, and appreciate the quiet moments of life.Above all, Higinio's greatest pride and accomplishment was his family. His love, strength, and guidance will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in our hearts.
