He is survived by: his mother Thom Tran; his children, Ally Hoang and Tylor Hoang; his sibling Thuy Hoang-Duong (John Duong); his siblings' children, Natalie Duong and Austin Duong; and his siblings, Thao Hoang (Dung Mai) and Linda Hoang-Lam (My Lam).

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Chapel (1901 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A wake will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe (3231 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801).
