Hershel Brent Stevens

Hershel Brent Stevens was born on May 26, 1946, in Jefferson, Texas, and passed away on March 8, 2026, at Rose Haven Retreat in Atlanta, Texas, at the age of 79.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Diane (Allborty) Stevens; his parents, Albert Stevens and Hattie Lane Stevens; his sons, Tommy Dale Glanton and Jimmy Harold Glanton; and his brothers, Robert Stevens and Carl Stevens.

Hershel is survived by his son, Ronnie Brant Stevens; his daughters, Danna Pearl Dixon of Gladewater, Texas, Rhonda Michelle Bolinger of Bloomburg, Texas, Kimberly Ann Bailey, and Sheena Marie Stevens of Gladewater, Texas; his brother, Oddis Stevens of Vivian, Louisiana; his sister, Kathy; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Hershel carried a deep sense of duty, honor, and strength throughout his life. He lived with purpose and commitment, first in uniform and later as a roughneck, guided by principles of faith, integrity, and service. He earned the lasting respect and admiration of all who knew him.
