Herbert Clark Folmar

Herbert Clark Folmar, 85, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Penn Highlands Clearfield.He was born May 8, 1940, in Peal, the son of Edgar and Alva (Smith) Folmar.Clark started his working career driving truck and then worked for many years in the open pit mines. He liked to fix things, and work in the yard with his John Deere tractor. He really enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Goldie.He is survived by his wife, Nellie L. (Test) Folmar whom he wed May 12, 1979; children, Randy Folmar, and Pamela McGuire; stepchildren, Susan Spaid and husband Jeffrey, and Joseph Test and significant other Fran; and a sister, Bonnie Wisor and husband Marsh.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Ruth Gurbal, Betty Hutchings, Karl Folmar, Grace Conaway, Alma Merrell, Ethel Fisher, and Maynard Folmar.Honoring Herbert's wishes, there will be no public services.Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.To sign the online guestbook, visit beardsleyfuneralhome.com.
