Henrietta Thomas Lusk

Henrietta Thomas Lusk, a longtime resident of Smartt Station and native of Viola, Tennessee, died on March 15, 2026 at St. Thomas Rutherford surrounded by her family. She was 86.

Born on September 22, 1939, Henrietta was the daughter of the late John Leonard “Abe” and Ina Pauline Northcutt Thomas. A retired operator with Magnetek/Century, she was a devoted Christian and lifelong member of Smartt Church of Christ. Those who knew her remember her quiet strength, deep faith, and steadfast love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Darnell Thomas; daughter, De Andrea Lenora Lusk; great-grandson, Domnique Pinegar; five brothers and one sister. Henrietta is survived by her son, Lenny (Equeesha) Lusk of Morrison, Tennessee; sister, Evie Northcutt of Tullahoma, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandon Thomas, Rashad (Jennifer) Thomas, Mack Thomas, April Collins, Trevor (Vanessa) Collins, Cameron Lusk, Arianna Lusk and LaBraya Lusk; great-grandchildren, Santana Collins, Layla Rogers, Braxton Thomas, Anthony Lusk, Zayn Lusk, Jacolby Holman and Jeremiah Collins; and a host of nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
