Henrietta Castillo

May 2, 1958 March 14, 2026

Houston, TX

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved "Tata."She was a devoted Christian who held firmly to her faith throughout her life. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and made it a daily routine to call and check on everyone. We will always remember her love for music and dancing, her enjoyment of eating out, and her generous habit of offering her food to anyone nearby. She was rarely seen without her signature red lipstick. In her later years, she dedicated herself to caring for others, though she carried the profound weight of the loss of her son.

She is preceded in death by her son Gerardo Castillo.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Castillo; her grandchildren, Damian Sanchez, Briana Castillo, Damiana Sanchez, Isica Castillo, Juan Sanchez, Abigail Castillo, Fabian Sanchez, Xavier Castillo, and Isaiah Castillo; and her great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Sanchez, Genesis Salazar, Alani Gongora, Anthony Jr. Almazan, Athena and Mia Alcantar, and Kingston Carmon.Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.

A visitation to honor Henrietta’s memory will be held on March 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Home, located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075. The funeral service will follow on the same day, beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM at the same location. These gatherings offer an opportunity for those who knew Henrietta to come together, share their remembrances, and find solace in each other’s company.

Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her, and her memory will forever remain a blessing in the hearts of her daughter, extended family, and friends.
