Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Henri was preceded in death by his parents, Henri Sr. and Octavia Sanford, his brother Paul Sanford, and two nephews, Derek and Demond Sanford. He is survived by his devoted husband, Gilbert Henderson Sanford, his three sisters, Gail, Vell, and Nadine Sanford, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

For thirty years, Henri served as a dedicated steward with Southwest Airlines, earning the respect and affection of his coworkers. He cherished the friendships he formed throughout his life, holding each one close to his heart. Those who knew him will remember his warmth and the genuine love he extended to everyone he held dear.
