Helen Viola Olm

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Viola Olm of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Viola; her grandson Blake Martin; and her brothers, Ross VanLeer, Glenn VanLeer (late Dixie) and Marvin "Beef" VanLeer (late Virginia).

She is survived by: her children, Timothy Jett (Patti) of Wichita, KS, Vicki Fountain (Paul) of Stilwell, KS and Christopher Jett (Rebecca) of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; along with numerous step-children and step-grandchildren; several nieces, one nephew, other relatives, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion U. C. C. Cemetery (1200 N Washington Ave, Union, MO 63084).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA.
