She was born in Lubbock, Texas, to Roy Bryan and Bernice Boyd.Helen was known for her kindness, strength, and deep faith in God. She loved her family dearly and valued time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Bryan and Bernice Boyd; her husbands, Robert Young and Toby Thomas; and her daughters, Elizabeth Prihoda and Laura Starr and her brother, Billy Boyd.Helen is survived by her children, Robbie Duvic and her husband Charles, and Thornton Thomas and his wife Kim; her grandchildren, Ashley Beadman and her husband Preston, and Lisa Day and her husband Bryan; and many loving great-grandchildren.Helen will be remembered for her caring heart, strong faith, and devotion to her family.Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace and resting in the arms of the Lord she loved so dearly.Her family will receive friends at Sanders Funeral Home from 5:30-7:30 pm, Monday, March 9, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in Sanders Memorial Chapel.
