Helen P. Capano

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2026, at the age of 100, Helen P. Capano of Woodland Park, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen P. Capano to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry E. Capano; her son Richard Capano (Carolyn); her granddaughter Anne; her great grandchild Jashira; and her siblings, Henry, Leocadia, Adolph and Julia.

She is survived by: her children, Kathryn M. Grosso (Emil) of Wyckoff, Henry R. Capano (Janice) of Washington, Kenneth J. Capano (Jean) of Groton, CT and Matthew T. Capano (Donna) of Columbia. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home (111 Union Blvd, Totowa, NJ 07512). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Bonaventure R. C. Church (174 Ramsey St, Paterson, NJ 07501). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson, NJ 07501.
