Helen Marie Webb, age 79, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 19, 1947, in Esther, she was the cherished daughter of the late Carnell and Helen P. (Slinkard) Simmons.
Helen’s unwavering faith defined much of her life. A devoted member of the Nazarene Church in Park Hills for more than six decades, she served as organist and pianist, sharing her musical talent with the congregation while actively participating in Sunday School and serving on the church board. Her kindness and commitment to service left a lasting impression on those around her.
Professionally, Helen worked for 31 years as a secretary for the Central School District, where her supportive spirit touched educators, students, and families throughout the community. She found great joy in traveling, taking boat rides on Bull Shoals, and most of all, in the company of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Benjamin John Webb; and siblings, Joann Wood and Gene Simmons. Helen is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leroy “Pete” Webb; daughter Andrea “Andi” McWilliams and husband Paul “PeeWee;” grandchildren Allison Metje (Kris), Abby Pease (Robert), and Andrew Harper (Brittany); great-grandchildren Breckin and Marlo Pease, and Willow and Benjamin Metje; one brother, Jim Simmons (Joyce); sisters-in-law Ella Mae Beeler (Ted) and Mary Simmons; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She will be remembered for her deep faith, gentle spirit, and the love she so freely gave to her family.
