Helen Louise Moran

Helen Louise Moran, 92, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formerly of Greensburg, passed away peacefully at her home on March 11, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Harlan and Mary Anderson Odorisio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, and her sisters, Shirley Ross and Mary Emma Parsley.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Margaret Hunkele (Kurt) and Maureen McMahon (Kevin) of Pittsburgh. She cherished her grandchildren, Christina Larkin (Tim) of Pasadena, California, and John Hunkele of Hoboken, New Jersey, as well as her many nieces and nephews.

A registered nurse, Helen cared for patients at Pittsburgh Hospital for many years before retiring from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Aspinwall. She found quiet joy in reading and in gathering with friends for games of cards and dominoes. Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit and the steady love she showed her family.
