Helen was born in Lebanon, VA to the late John D. Statzer and Ida Blanche Gibson Statzer. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles J. Widener and second husband, James Lewis. Helen worked in the cafeteria at a local elementary school for the Kingsport Public Schools, Kingsport, TN and was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church, Chesapeake, VA.She will be laid to rest beside her first husband at East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN.
