Helen Leilani Owens

Mrs. Helen Leilani Owens, age 63 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville. Funeral services for Mrs. Owens will be conducted on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 7PM in the chapel of Alamo Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Crabtree officiating.

Leilani was born February 28, 1963, in Honolulu, HI; the daughter of the late James Salcur and Barbara (Jackson) Needham. She was a beautician and member of Alamo Baptist Church.

Leilani is survived by her husband, Gary Owens; four children, William Owens (Cheyanne), Mayce Owens, Jackson Owens, Keilani Owens; and four grandchildren, Abel Owens, Ava Owens, Evelyn Owens, and Meilani Owens. She was preceded in death by her father, James Salcur; mother & stepfather, Barbara & Charles Needham; and sister, Eva Ilg.

The family will receive friends from 5PM – 7PM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Alamo Baptist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Helen Leilani Owens.
