Mount Dora, FL

Helen Agnes Lamb Wilkerson, born September 29, 1939, in Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on March 11, 2026. She grew up in Orlando, Florida, and spent her life in the greater Orlando area, building a life rooted in faith, family, and service.

Helen attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in Orlando, where she formed lifelong friendships she cherished throughout the years. Her faith was central to her life, and she remained a devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Church for many decades.

A dedicated volunteer, Helen gave generously of her time and talents. She served as President of the PTA at Mollie E. Ray Elementary School and the Pine Hills Community Council. She was actively involved in parish life at St. Charles Borromeo Church, ministered to the sick in local nursing homes, sang joyfully in the church choir, and was a devoted member of the St. Charles Council of Catholic Women, where she served as both Vice President and President. She also volunteered at Brother’s Keeper Shop and was a member of the Carmelite Sisters. Helen had a true green thumb and a special gift for nurturing plants, bringing beauty and life wherever she planted.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Paul, and by her parents, Bill Lamb and Helen Codner Lamb. Helen is survived by her children Danny, Cabrina, and Sonya; her sisters Joyce Baumann and Linda Hill; her two grandchildren Christopher and Amber; and great-grandchildren Lawrence Allen, Maria, and Aurora. She spent her last few years in Mount Dora, lovingly cared for by her daughter Cabrina and son-in-law Tom Garrett. Helen will be remembered for her generous spirit, her unwavering devotion to her family and church, and the quiet way she touched the lives of so many.
