Helen L. Mullinax

Helen L. Mullinax of Stringer, Mississippi, born in Talladega, Alabama, passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 93. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was deeply rooted in family and faith.

Predeceased by her husband, Rev. Johnny Joe Mullinax; her parents, Floyd and Ada Pullen; her son-in-law, Sonny Bufkin; her siblings, Edward Pullen, George Pullen, and Dixie Meeks; her grandson, Jerry Bridges; and her great-great-grandchild, Oliver Ware, Helen is remembered for the steadfast love she showed her family across many generations.

She is survived by her children, Betty Meeks and her husband James, Johnny Mullinax and his wife Sara, and Chris Mullinax; her sister, Peggy Smith; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren. Her quiet strength and enduring presence will remain a cherished part of all their lives.
