Helen L. Duchesne

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Duchesne (Franklin, New Hampshire), who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Duchesne, Sr.; her parents, J. Benjamin LaPlante, and Dorothy LaPlante, Sr. (Hersey); and her siblings, J. Benjamin LaPlante, Jr. (Ann), Eleanor Kehoe (Don), Irene Hoffmann (George), Margaret Paquette and Janet Mayo.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Duchesne, Jr. (Sandi), Mark Duchesne (Lynn), Bryan Duchesne, Matthew Duchesne (Audrey), Anne Smith (Robert), Lynne Poulin (Richard) and Carole Moore; her sister Rita Norander (Robert); and her brother-in-law Al Mayo. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Gabriel Parish (110 School St, Franklin, NH 03235).

In lieu of flowers, for those who may be interested, the family suggests a memorial donation in Helen's name, to the Newfound Lake Region Association, 10 North Main St. Unit 1, Bristol NH 03222.
