Pisgah Forest, NC

Helen Elizabeth Allison Marshall was born on December 27, 1930, and passed away on March 10, 2026.

A faithful member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church for 76 years, Helen lived a life deeply rooted in her devotion to God. She will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her abiding love for family, and the warmth and kindness she brought to every gathering.

Family was the center of her world and her greatest joy. She was the devoted mother of four children and leaves behind a loving legacy through ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Helen possessed a quick wit and a contagious laugh that brightened any room. She found deep happiness in simple pleasures, tending her vegetable garden, hiking, fishing at the lake, and taking trips to the beach. She enjoyed music, playing cards, reading, and above all, spending time with those she loved. Her homemade walnut cake was a cherished treat that delighted family and friends for years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles B. Allison and Minnie Belle Johnson Allison, her husband Carroll Roy Marshall, and her siblings Clarence Allison, C.B. Allison, Maybelle Allison Gasperson, Nellie Allison Sensing, and Ralph Allison.

Helen is survived by her children Don Marshall (wife Linda), Debbie Landreth, Melanie Williams (husband Charles), and Deidra Bracken. Her loving spirit and the many lives she touched will continue through the generations she so dearly cherished.
