Helen Delorse Welch, 93, of Paragould, Arkansas, left this world on March 13, 2026. Born on November 12, 1932, in Paragould, she was a lifelong resident of the community. Helen dedicated her professional life to the field of education, serving as a secretary at Greene County Tech, where she positively impacted the lives of many students and staff through her hard work and compassion.She was a graduate of Greene County Tech and Arkansas State University, earning a degree in accounting. She dedicated her life to Tech School, working as a secretary for Mr. J.C. Cothern for 30 years. She then worked as an accountant for 12 years before retiring.Helen's heart and spirit were deeply rooted in her community. She loved scrapbooking and quilting with her friends and mother. She spent many hours working at the VFW. Helen was a beloved member of the Commissary Church of Christ, where she is remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband of many years, Charles "Bully" Welch; her parents, Edward and Lilly Mitchell; and brother, Harold Mitchell.She leaves behind many nephews, nieces, and friends to remember her lasting impact. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be remembered by all who knew her.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Heath Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Art Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Following the service, Helen will be laid to rest at Linwood Cemetery.The family invites all who knew and loved Helen to join them in celebrating her life and legacy. She will be greatly missed but lives on in the hearts of those she touched.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Helen's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or Children's Homes Inc. of Paragould.
