Helen Christine Ridenour

Helen Christine Ridenour of LaFollette, Tennessee, passed away on March 16, 2026.

She was predeceased by her parents, Virgil M. Nelson and Sophia Weaver Nelson (Lord); her significant other, Ed Ridenour; her stepmother, Isadora V. Ridenour; and her siblings, Mary Lou Stewart and Calvin Lee Nelson (C. L.).

Helen is survived by her daughter, Linda Young of Caryville; her grandchildren, Amanda Reynolds (Lowell) of LaFollette and David Martin of LaFollette; her great-grandchildren, Johnathan David Hopson, Shane Reynolds, Vanessa Reynolds, Katie Martin, and Meranda Martin; her sisters, Aileen Hatfield of Athens and Wanda F. Keele of The Villages, Florida; her stepsiblings, Rosemary Sutton of Kentucky, Ann Ridenour of Georgia, and William Fred Ridenour of Clinton; and her cousin in Jacksboro. She is also survived by six nephews, two nieces, and several aunts and uncles.
