She pursued her passion for learning at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences-an impressive achievement during a time when relatively few women entered the field.Helen built an exceptional professional career marked by leadership, integrity, and expertise in finance and technology. She served as Vice President of Finance & Control at JP Morgan and held Vice President roles at Bankers Trust, Global Technology Services, and Radiance Reinsurance Company. Throughout her career, she also contributed her talents to Ernst & Young, Gibbs & Hill, and American Express. Her colleagues admired her analytical mind, strong work ethic, and steady leadership, and she left a lasting impact on the organizations she helped guide.Beyond her professional accomplishments, Helen found great joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an enthusiastic cook who loved preparing meals for family and friends, especially her renowned cheesecakes and her flavorful Chinese and Italian dishes. Helen also had a deep love for global travel, embracing the opportunity to explore new cultures, cuisines, and experiences around the world.Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Kinga Chen, and her brothers, Hong Chin and James Chin. She is survived by her sister, Judy Lui, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Dodson, Christine Geller, Richard Chen, Stuart Lui, Stephen Lui, Jonathan Chin, and Jeffrey Chin. She treasured her family deeply and took great pride in their lives and accomplishments.Helen will be remembered for her intelligence, warmth, independence, and generosity.
