She was born on May 7, 1945, in Mankato, Minnesota.Helen dedicated her life to her family as a devoted stay-at-home mother. She believed deeply in family, faith, and traditional values, and she created a warm and loving home for those around her. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her life, and she took great pride in watching her family grow through the generations.Helen was known for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and kind nature. She approached life with patience, warmth, and quiet strength, always ready to offer help, encouragement, or a listening ear to anyone in need. Her generosity showed itself in countless small ways-through thoughtful acts, handmade gifts, and the care she gave so freely to family and friends. Her gentleness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially walking in nature and crocheting. Many family members and friends were blessed to receive the handmade items she lovingly created over the years. Helen's warmth extended beyond her own family-many of her grandchildren's friends affectionately called her "Grandma Helen," a reflection of the kindness and welcome she showed to everyone who came through her door.Helen is survived by her children, Geoff and Jenny (Matthew); her grandchildren, Emily, Alex, Abby, and Elizabeth; and her great-grandchildren, Lyla and Bowen. She will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering love for her family.Helen's legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the many lives she touched with her warmth and care.Helen's celebration of life will be March 17th at 2:00 PM with visitation and hour before.
