Heidi Dahlin ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Peterson Chapel – Buffalo on Mar. 9, 2026.August 24, 1969 – March 8, 2026Heidi Ann Dahlin, age 56, of rural Buffalo passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at her residence.She was born in Minneapolis on August 24, 1969 the daughter of Gary O. & Sandra Ann (Richel) Vergin.Heidi was baptized in 1969. She was also instructed in the Lutheran catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on May 1, 1983 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo.Heidi graduated from Buffalo High School in 1987.On September 23, 1989, Heidi Ann Vergin and Brian E. Dahlin were joined in holy marriage at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with a daughter.Heidi enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, attending concerts, enjoyed pets especially her dogs.She was currently employed as a Media Center Paraprofessional at The Delano High School.Survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years: Brian E. Dahlin; a daughter: Brenna Dahlin; her father: Gary O. Vergin all of Buffalo; parents in law: Edward & Joan Dahlin of Colorado; other relatives and many friends.Preceded in death by her mother Sandra Ann "Sandie" Vergin.Funeral services for Heidi Ann Dahlin will be held on Tuesday, March 17th at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo.Interment Elmwood Cemetery in Rockford.A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17th AT THE CHURCH from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.Casket Bearers will be Rodney Davidson, Grant Bowman, Tony Bresina and Kurt Bruhn.The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo is serving the family.
