He was born in Alice on June 17, 1983 to Josephine Saenz.He is survived by his children, Hector Javier Cerda III, Alya D'ann Cerda, Donny Lee Cerda, Nicholas Kane Cerda, Zachary Santos Cerda and Anthony Lee Cerda; grandchildren, Liam, Ethan and Araceli Montes, Elijah and Paisley Cerda, Bentley Musgrove and Duke Cerda and sister, Jennifer Pineda and husband Jose.Hector was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Adam Saenz and maternal grandparents.Visitation will be 4 pm to 6 pm Monday, March 16, 2026, at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 am Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Triska Funeral Home. Interment will follow at La Colonia de Mexicana Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Jose Pineda, Anthony Llanos, Jorge Sanchez, Rocky Saenz, Brandon Mancias, Ivan Mancias, Mark Garza and John Garcia.Memorial donations may be made to Triska Funeral Home to help the family defray funeral expenses.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
