He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Jones and Nonavee Jones; and his siblings, Marcia Tagg, Eileen Jones and Wayne Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Merrill; his children, Sabynthe Jones, Glenn Jones, Allan Jones, Wendy Taylor, Colin Jones, Nonavee Dale, Ryan Jones and Mark Jones; and his sister Jennifer Meldrum. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Latter-Day Saint Chapel (1080 S 930 W St, Payson, UT 84651). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
