Heaven Dudley ObituaryPublished by Legacy on Mar. 3, 2026.Heaven Namia Dudley, 17, of Charlottesville, Virginia departed this life peacefully on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 at the University of Virginia Hospital surrounded by loved ones as she entered eternal peace and rest.Heaven was born on October 9th, 2008 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was the beloved daughter of Natasha Scott and Timothy Dudley. She was preceded in death by her Great Grandmother Minnie Purle Scott and Shirley Dudley, Grandmother Darlene Domoss Scott, her Brother Traquan Dudley and Sister Nydaea Imera Wicks.Heaven was such a unique name. Her mom, named her Heaven because she believes she was sent from Heaven after her sister passed away at just 6 weeks old. Heaven Dudley was an extraordinary gift from God and all who knew her would gladly agree. Heaven was a loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin and just an overall friend who showed the love of Jesus Christ to everyone she encountered. She had such a generous heart and was always ready to help out. She made sure everyone was taken care of before herself. Heaven was such an inspiration to many and shared her joy with everyone she met. Her smile and laugh was very contagious.By seventeen, Heaven had already fought battles most people will never face in a lifetime. From Doctor appointments, hospital rooms, surgeries, procedures to the uncertainty of new tests. It was very challenging, yet somehow she was the light that never dimmed and had a smile that never went away. Heaven had that Unshakable Faith in God. What added to that Faith was God blessing her with a new Heart on July 28th, 2020 very shortly after being put on the waiting list! Heaven Dudley faced the unimaginable but she chose to remain positive and she always kept a smile on her face. She remained strong despite her difficult medical battle. Heaven's life was not defined by illness, but by faith, resilience, strength, positivity, kindness, mindfulness, courage, and love.Heaven Dudley was doing school remotely, she was in the 11th grade. Because of her sharp mind beyond her years, Heaven was also known to some as Mama Heaven and Doctor Heaven. Heaven loved doing advanced puzzles, building Legos, doing acrylic nails, reading and studying the bible, playing/winning uno along with any other board games, she enjoyed giving back through random acts of kindness, she loved wearing her crocs, she loved dogs and she loved her family with all her heart. Heaven went on her very first Carnival Cruise in December of 2025 with family, she really enjoyed herself and she was also able to get in the water at the beach for the first time in many years. Heaven was an entreprenuer she had a business designing custom cups, keychains and pens. Heaven was a continuous aspiring entrepreneur as she was working on launching a new business called Heaven's Ink. She wanted to be a nail technician so she was also working towards saving to start her nail business in the future. In no offense to those who do, she would always say she wasn't going to work for anyone, she was determined to have her own businesses.Heaven is survived by and leaves behind to cherish her Mom Natasha Scott and Dad Timothy Dudley, Great Grandmother Catherine Adams, Grandmother Carolyn Dudley, Grandfather Donald Taylor and his wife Veronica White , Sister Jessalyn Dudley, Four Brothers Zandarius Wicks, Timothy Telik Antonio Dudley Jr, Jakesse Wicks and Elijah Jackson, Cousins DeMarco Dudley, Damion Dudley, Cniyah Imera Harris, Cerenity Angel Harris, Jayla Dudley, Raziah Dudley, Josiah Dudley and a host of cousins, Great Great Aunts Fannie Blakey and susie blakey, Aunts Dalla Dudley, Brianna Dudley, Georgetta Schwanna Scott, Irvenia May scott, Uncles Christopher Maurice Scott, Chris Dudley, Brandon Dudley, Adam dudley, Great Uncle Sterling "Chip" Dudley and a host of cousins and other family."I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful." 2 Timothy 4:7 NLTSpecial thank you to Dr Michael McCulloch her Heart Doctor, Leslie Peregoy Nurse Pratcioner, Dr April Catherine Bingham her Rheumatologist, Dr Perriello her Primary Care Doctor and of Host of staff at UVA Hospital.
