It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Charlene Degan on March 12, 2026, at the age of 71.Heather was the loving wife of Luciano and a devoted mother to Jennifer (Artur) and Mark (Rise). She was a proud and caring grandmother to Connor, Hayleigh, and Ryoma, who brought her immense joy. Heather was also a cherished sister to Vickki (Danny).Heather was known for her warm heart, kindness, and selfless nature. She was someone who always put others before herself and made those around her feel cared for and supported. Her family was the center of her life, and she took great pride in the moments they shared together.She enjoyed many things in life and had a wide range of hobbies that brought her happiness. Heather loved reading, crocheting, building her spoon collection, working on puzzles, and keeping up with her daily Wordle. In her younger years, she spent time up north where she developed a love for water skiing, creating many happy memories on the water.Heather will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generosity, and the love she gave to family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.May she rest in peace and be forever held in our hearts.Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Monday from 4-8 pm.
