She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter M. Haney and Nannie E. Haney (Smith); her husband Vernon King; and her sisters, Annie Byrd and Lena Ray Garner.

She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Barnes (Kenneth), Randy King (Debbie) and Gerald King (Debra); her grandchildren, Glen Barnes (Kim), Cindy Meaker, Kandi Schubert (Bryan), Chris King (Julie) and Eric King (Leauna); her great grandchildren, Alexis, Landon Barnes, Elizabeth Mitchell (Glenn), Austin Meaker, Jonathan King, Megan Van (Mason), Brookelynn and Bryanna Schubert; and her great great grandchildren, Jase and Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sherwood Emmanuel Apostolic Church (505 Church St, Sherwood, TN 37376). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
