Hazel Allene Williams, born November 10, 1933, in Rising Fawn, Georgia, to William and Marjorie Hamic, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. A woman of unwavering devotion, Hazel poured her love selflessly into her family, her work, and her community.
For fifty years, Hazel owned and managed Badcock Furniture in Dunnellon, becoming a familiar and trusted presence to generations of families. Her dedication, kindness, and steady leadership touched countless lives and helped shape the town she loved so dearly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved high school sweetheart and husband of sixty-four years, Hubert Williams; her son, John Williams (Teresa); and her brothers, William Hamic (Clara), Herbert Hamic (April), and John Hamic (Dora).
Hazel is survived by her son, Robert Williams (Susan); her grandchildren Dennis Williams (Tonya), Robert Kyle Williams (Paige), Brooke Perrin (Chris), Jordan Williams (Tiffany), Victoria Wood (Tyler), and Shane Williams (Sarah); and her nine great-grandchildren, Trent, Aubrey, Kayden, Avery, Bristol, Ella, Jeremiah, Isaac, and Charles, who brought her endless joy. Her life was a quiet testament to strength, loyalty, and love, and her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the community she uplifted. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
