Harry J. Haws, Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026, with his sisters by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry Sr. and Mary, and his nephew Bryan.
Born in Philadelphia, Harry grew up in the Parkwood section of the city. He graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School with the class of 1974 and began a long career with Blue Cross Blue Shield in Philadelphia. A devoted sports fan, he especially enjoyed following the Phillies and the Eagles.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Ann Brooks (Robert “Harry”) and Sue Kerstein (Evan), his nieces, four great-nieces, and two great-nephews.
