Harry Edward Parker, Sr., age 89, of Ridgewood, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he made his home in Ridgewood for 64 years. Harry served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1954 to 1957. For many years he was the owner of Custom Designers, where he specialized in canvas work. In his free time he found joy in deep sea fishing in Florida, visiting the casino in Yonkers with his wife Katherine, and above all, cheering on his grandchildren at their tournaments and competitions. He was also a dedicated sponsor with Alcoholics Anonymous for 47 years, quietly helping countless individuals through every stage of recovery.

He was the beloved husband of the late Katherine Ann (née Tielemans) Parker. Harry leaves behind his loving children, Kathleen Peacock and her husband Robert of Ridgewood, Harry Parker and his wife Jami of Midland Park, and Kristy Hillmer and her husband Ralph of Midland Park. He was the dear grandfather of Allison Baker and John, Brian Peacock and Kristine, Megan Mullin and Pat, Jessica DaSilva and David, Danielle Parker, Amanda Parker-Siebel and Taylor, Harry Parker IV, Mary Katherine Hillmer, and Grace Hillmer. He was the cherished great-grandfather of Landon, Hannah, Emma, Joseph, Leonardo, Benjamin, Scarlett, Mia, and Hunter. He is also survived by his brother Edward Parker and his wife Andrea, as well as many loving nieces and nephews who will carry his memory with them. He was predeceased by his siblings Dolores, Kay, Jack, and Eileen.
