She was born on May 28, 1926 and was the daughter of the late John Henry and Laura Skelton Palmer of White County GA. Marie had an unwavering faith and attended Pentecost Chapel Holiness Church. She was a wonderful mom, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, a homemaker/cook, and a caregiver to many family members over the years. She loved working with her flowers and in her garden every year. If you drove by her house during the summer, you were likely to see her cutting her own grass well into her 90’s. She has always loved to journal her daily life and Greg has found her journals all the way back to her teenage years.

She will truly be missed by those that knew her and loved her as she is reunited with her family and friends that have gone on before her.
