Harriet Ruth Goldberg

Harriet Ruth Goldberg, age 79, of Wallingford, passed away on March 12, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Maxwell Goldberg. Born in New Haven, Harriet was the daughter of the late Harvey and Faye Galvin Glazer.

She began her career as an elementary school teacher before devoting herself to raising her family as a homemaker. Later, she returned to teaching in the Adult Education program in Wallingford. In 1968, she and Maxwell moved to Wallingford, where they built their home and created a warm family life.

Harriet cherished her family above all else, and her grandchildren were her greatest source of joy. She remained active at the Wallingford Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing cards, and after moving to Masonic, she continued to find pleasure in the company of friends, particularly during games of bingo.

She is survived by her sons, Adam Goldberg and his wife Kerri Ricardo of Stamford, and Jonathan Goldberg and his wife Lauren of Cheshire; her granddaughters, Isobel, Alexandra, and Gabriella; and her brother, Martin Glazer of Florida.
