Harriet Anne Lewis, 83, of Johnson City, passed away on March 2, 2026, at NHC Healthcare following a brief illness. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, she lived in Johnson City for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Harriet Joy Summers Lewis.
Known for her independence, resilience, and strong work ethic, Harriet was a loving mother and grandmother with a distinctive sense of humor. Devout in her faith, she remained a lifelong supporter of Trinity Assembly of God. She also held a deep passion for Indian Heritage and cherished her travels to various reservations.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joy Summers.
She is survived by her sons, John Lewis of Johnson City and Matt Fink and wife Kim of Jonesborough; five grandchildren, Nick Lewis and wife Sidney, Sean Lewis and wife Sarah, Amber Sturdivant, Amanda Silvers and husband Jonathan, and Adam Childs; two great-grandchildren, Jaimason and Kamden Sturdivant; her sister, Christine Hankle and husband Ron of Augusta, Georgia; and two nephews, Bart and Brian Hankle.
