Harold Richard Pone

Harold Richard Pone, 87, of West Bristol, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on March 30, 1938, he was the son of the late Angelo and Blanche Pone. Harold spent most of his life in the Bristol area, where he became a familiar and welcome presence along the local waterways. He found deep contentment fishing the Bristol Canal and the Delaware River, places that felt like home to him throughout his years.

He is survived by his children from his first marriage to Caroline Tiereny, whom he predeceased: Christine O’Brien, Thomas Pone, Kathleen Morton, Regina Schoenacher, and David Pone (Jennifer). From his second marriage to Vera Pone (Haberkern), whom he also predeceased, he is survived by his daughter Susan McColgan (Matthew). Harold leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as extended family, neighbors, and all those whose lives he touched over the years.
