Harold Mack Browning

Mr. Harold Mack Browning of Harrisburg passed away at his home on Friday morning, March 12, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born on March 4, 1954, in Marked Tree, Arkansas, he was the son of James Browning and Lou Ross Browning. Mack married Patricia Lorrine Green on January 10, 1974, and they shared 42 years of life together until her death in 2015. He served in the U.S. Army with Company C, 1st Battalion, 508th Infantry Division, beginning his enlistment on July 27, 1973. After his discharge, he worked as an HVAC specialist and embraced a free-spirited, hippy-style way of life. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mack was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, four brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his three children, Mack Kevin Browning of Harrisburg, Shannon Morgan of Harrisburg, and Patricia Evett of Trumann; one sister, Stella Russell of Proctor; six grandchildren, Ashton Browning, Zachary Browning, Lilie Morgan, Adam Morgan, Daisy Clark, and Robbie Evett II; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
