He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene and Geneva Mary Stewart (Newhart); and his sisters, Sharon Kay Stewart Stahly and Tara Mae Stewart Evans. He is survived by: his sons, Harold Alexander "Alex" Stewart (Beth) of Indianapolis and John Nicholas "Nick" Stewart (Angel) of Shoreline, WA; his sister Cheryl Lynn Stewart Lushe of Arlington, VA; and his grandsons, Zander and Eli.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041).
