Harold “Harry” Feigenblat, age 88, of Shelton, died peacefully on March 6, 2026 at Griffin Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Louis and Ruth Gross Feigenblat. A proud U.S. Navy veteran who served from 1958 to 1960, Harry spent his career as a skilled sheet metal fabricator, first with AVCO Lycoming for 16 years and then at Sikorsky for 43 years until his retirement in 2018. At the same time, he operated an independent carpentry business, earning a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and fine trim work.

Harry was an avid puzzler, talented crafter, and metalworker who took great pride in his miniature bottle collection. Known as the life of any party, he was quick with a joke and possessed a fun-loving personality that drew people to him. He and his wife Audrey shared 62 years of marriage filled with cruises, dancing, hard rock music, and countless family camping trips. An enthusiastic amateur cook, he loved preparing holiday feasts and hosting lively family gatherings. Above all, he will be remembered for his deep devotion to his family and their beloved pets.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Audrey J. Artman Feigenblat of Shelton; his children, Gary Feigenblat and his wife Mary of Shelton, Glenn Feigenblat and his wife Tricia of Florida, and Lillian Trembley and her husband Scott of Ansonia; his sister, Evelyn Levy of New York; his cherished grandchildren, Matthew Feigenblat and his wife Natalie of Massachusetts, Maryssa Riley and her husband Doug of Bethany, Aubrey Marrero and her husband Edwin of Massachusetts, Alannah Feigenblat of Manchester, Madison Feigenblat of Shelton, Jillian Feigenblat of Florida, River Trembley of Southington, and Colby Trembley of Wisconsin; his great-grandchildren, Raelynn Riley, Jaxson Riley, Mariela Feigenblat, Emic Marrero, Amelia Marrero, and Anessa Marrero; his sister-in-law Darleen Lee of Derby and her sons Tony Lee Jr. of Oxford and Christopher Lee of Glastonbury; as well as other in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
