Harold Bryant Cook

Harold Bryant Cook, 91, of Snow Camp, North Carolina, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. A native of Corinth County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Elvin Cook and Viola Abbott Cook. He served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Harold was an avid hunter and golfer who cherished his longtime membership in the Mountain View Ruritan Club and his active faith at Hico Baptist Church. Above all, he was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from his role as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Nelda Moser Cook; two daughters, Sheila Chappell and Lori Blackwood and her husband Dennis; son, Bryant Cook; stepson, Kenneth Doby; six grandchildren, Eugenia Rogers and her husband Jerrid, Casey Terrell and her husband L.T., Stacey Cook, Chad Birchett, Michelle Townsend, and Carrie Campos; one step-granddaughter, Samantha Doby; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Glackling and Pet Dennier; and a brother-in-law, Don Moser. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings and a stepson, Randy Doby.
