Mishawaka, IN
Harold B. Fleming, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 70 in his hometown of Mishawaka, Indiana. Born on October 28, 1955, to the late Ralph and Boneta (Sandefur) Fleming, Harold grew up surrounded by the warmth and energy of a large, close-knit family that remained central to his life.
In 1988, Harold married his beloved wife, Linda, in Mishawaka. Their union brought deep joy and laughter as they raised their daughter, Kimberly Allison, and son, Charles (Christina) Speelman. Harold took great pride in his role as grandfather to eight grandchildren and great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren, nurturing these family bonds with quiet devotion and affection.
After serving in the United States Army, Harold worked for more than 32 years with the Mishawaka Street Department. Colleagues valued his steady work ethic, reliability, and friendly nature, which earned him lasting friendships. In his free time, he found happiness camping with his family, following WWE, and working on cars, pursuits that reflected his appreciation for simple pleasures, shared moments, and hands-on creativity.
Harold is survived by his wife, Linda; his sisters, Beatrice (Jason) Stacy, Sharon Mash, Pat Buck, and LaTreasa (Ken) Rice; and his brothers, Danny Fleming and Dennis Fleming. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ralph, Elmer, Terry, Dicky, and Julius Fleming. His warm spirit and heartfelt laughter will continue to live on through the loving family he leaves behind.
