Harold Albanese 03/07/2026 Harold J. Albanese, 102, of East Haven, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 7, 2026. He was the loving husband of Theresa Passariello Albanese. Harold was born on October 30, 1923, in New Haven to the late Joseph and Julia Gannon Albanese. Harold is survived by his two loving daughters, Julia "Chick" Albanese Gravino, and Rosemarie Albanese Sudock, his grandchildren Alicia (Andrew) Reitano, Richard (Andrea) Sudock, Robert Sudock, great-grandchildren Jack Burton, and Vince and Valentina Sudock, and many nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law Carmella Albanese. Calling hours will be held on FRIDAY March 13, 2026 at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:40 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent dePaul 80 Taylor Ave at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest with full Military Honors next to his wife at All Saints Cemetery immediately following Mass.
