Hamid Reza Darvishian

Hamid Darvishian, 68, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with late-stage liver cancer.

Hamid was a generous man with a truly kind heart who always placed the needs of his family and friends before his own. His unwavering willingness to help anyone in need touched countless lives. A master automotive technician, he specialized in higher-end German and Japanese vehicles for many years. His expertise and dedication were renowned, and he was the first person family, friends, and acquaintances would call when facing a car issue, always ready with tools, advice, and a helping hand.

Despite a life marked by significant challenges and personal struggles, Hamid remained resilient and compassionate. He was especially devoted to caring for his beloved mother during her long battle with dementia and multiple illnesses, tending to her with patience and love until her final days. His greatest joy was his son, Darian, whom he loved with all his heart and cherished above all else.

Hamid is survived by his son, Darian Darvishian; three brothers; and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever remember his warmth, reliability, and generous spirit.
