She was born in Person County March 11, 1937 to the late Matt Long and Alice Lunsford Long.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: a daughter, Lenoria Ramsey and a son, Sylvester Lewis Cameron; a grandson, Tyrone Ramsey; a sister, Drucie Cash and two brothers: Matt Long, Jr. and Ordeen Long.She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband, Benny Breeze of Roxboro, North Carolina; children: MacDonald Cameron of Silver Spring, Maryland, Pat Carrington (Excel) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Cynthia Nelson and Freddie Henderson, both of Roxboro, Landra Ramsey (Michelle) of Rougemont, North Carolina, Chesley Ramsey, Julian Crutchfield (Desi) and William Ramsey (Sherry), all of Roxboro and Lynn Ramsey (Wayne) of Rougemont; twenty-two grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: William Long (Margaret) of Timberlake, North Carolina and Charlotte Springfield of Roxboro; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00pm at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services with the Reverend Melvin Palmer, Pastor at Silone Baptist Church in Chase City, Virginia, providing the eulogy.
