Gwendolyn Ann Dennis

Gwendolyn Ann Dennis, a beloved mother and devoted artist, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 86 in Buda, Texas. Born on August 23, 1939, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, she dedicated her life to education and the fine arts. She earned a Master’s Degree in Art from Texas Woman’s University and found deep fulfillment as a talented artist whose work reflected her vibrant spirit and profound love of life.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Gwendolyn cherished her roles as a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her three children, Scott, Erin, and Patrick, and was a proud grandmother to Megan Pannell, Conan McDonough, Scarlet Dennis, and Lucy Dennis, each of whom she held close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Dennis, her father, Oscar Burkholder, and her mother, June Burkholder.
